We have worked with the Circular Economy Company since January 2020. They have provided good support and advice during this time. Our original discussions cantered on the possibility of achieving Zero Waste to Landfill Certification. We have achieved this certification and our next agreed objective is to obtain a Carbon Neutral certification. Their practical knowledge of the waste industry and their IWMS Intelligent Waste Management Platform have allowed The Maryborough Hotel to easily manage, monitor, and review our development journey to sustainability in real time. The ease of use of the platform and the value of current and real time information has been invaluable to our planning and achieving the hotel’s sustainability objectives. In the Maryborough we are striving for a greener and cleaner environment and our sustainable approach has changed the way we use resources. With CEC’s support, we continually strive to improve our environmental practices in a range of areas including energy, single use plastic and water usage. We are working together to keep our impact on the environment to a minimum so that future generations can enjoy the natural resources of our beautiful planet.
